The application of keratin in the field of wood adhesive

As one of the natural biological materials, keratin has been widely used in many areas, but it has not yet been applied in the field of wood adhesive. In this paper, the structure and application of keratin, as well as its extraction method were summarized. At the same time, we discussed the current situation of Urea-formaldehyde resin and its modification with keratin. Finally, this paper look into the future the application of keratin adhesive in the woodworking field.
