  • Abstract
This paper describes a prototype of a shortwave DC-to-RF inverter used to drive an ultrasonic transducer, which can operate at a frequency in the range of 0.5 to 5.0 MHz. The ultrasonic transducer has a resonant frequency of 1.2 MHz, and it can also resonate at frequencies of 2.0 MHz and 4.6 MHz. The DC-to-RF inverter provides the RF power to the ultrasonic transducer at the respective resonant frequencies.
