Abstract :
Before something can be improved, it must be measured. And before something can be measured, there must be a consensus about which parameters should be evaluated, and a consensus about how those parameters should be evaluated. As of late 2004, there is a growing international consensus, expressed in international standards, regarding measurement of power quality. This paper provides a brief overview of these standards, and identifies parameters that have not yet reached consensus.
