Abstract :
In this paper we propose to find the theoretical torque ripple calculation for a synchronous machine without a salient pole due to defaults which can occur with a three phase PWM driver. The following calculation is done with a fixed input control voltage, which can be continuous or sampled and held. As a result, information about disturbing harmonics for a steady state point can be found for a machine with an unconnected neutral point and without saturation
