Abstract
This paper analyzes and compares the linear range operation of several high speed optocouplers. These devices are evaluated by measuring current transfer ratio (CTR), gain and phase characteristics over varying input currents and ambient temperatures. The parameters are compared in graphical and tabular form, and conclusions are drawn. The optocouplers considered for the switched mode power supplies consist of LED in combination with photodiodes and phototransistors
