Keynote speech 2 ICT paradigm shift in 2010s and its impact on the society

Summary form only given. In 2010s, both information and communication technology (ICT) are envisaged to have a paradigm shift with technological innovations, that is, “Cloud Computing (CLC)” and “New Generation Network (NWGN)/Future Internet (FI)”. CLC will make a strong impact on business structure, government services for citizens, medical applications, educations, etc. NWGN/FI will be able to solve the limitation in the Internet, and provide reliable and secure network infrastructure. In this talk, the technological progress in CLC and NWGN/FI is introduced taking account of their impacts on the future information society.
