Abstract :
The authors present an incremental global model that describes the cross saturation effect in the induction generator excited by a current source inverter and supplying a diode bridge with DC load. Neglecting the cross saturation a quasilinear model is obtained. These models are highly nonlinear and are not suitable for simple solutions to the control system. Using the small-perturbation technique the corresponding small-signal linear models are obtained. Some theoretical and experimental results are presented to illustrate the validity of the models.
