Abstract
The authors propose a fuzzy controller applied for controlling a half-bridge DC-DC PWM zero-voltage zero-current switching converter´. The circuit operation follows the concept of lossless commutation. The authors present the analysis and simulation results for this converter, operating in closed-loop with fuzzy controller. The aim of the fuzzy logic controller is to control the output voltage of the converter so that this voltage remains constant despite the load or the supply voltage variations. The plant performance is analyzed by simulation for different operating conditions in terms of change in load and supply voltage. The control system presented good results in terms of response time and robustness.
