Abstract :
Hybrid power control system (HCPS) can be considered a newly established branch in the research of power system. The concept, theory framework and cases of HPCS are introduced in the paper. In particular, the hybrid automatic voltage control illustrated in the paper has successfully optimized the quality, stability and operational cost of the power system. The discrete events are taken as the drivers of the HAVC systems. And the synthetic objects´ controls have been achieved, including the voltage level, dynamical performance, voltage stability and less loss. It should be noted that the concept and research approaches are more practical than those of hybrid automatic generator control and other hybrid systems, including military commanding systems, complicated manufacturing systems and some process optimizing systems.
