Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to provide reference for sustainable urban land use in fast economic growth regions by revealing the dynamic relationship between social economic benefits and ecological environment benefits of urban land use. Methods of systematic science and case study were employed. The results show that: during the ten years from 1999 to 2008, the development of the coupling relationship of urban land use benefits in Xianing is a process from the low symbiosis stage, the relative coordination stage, the relative optimal coordination stage and the relative incompatible stage to the relative coordination development stage. In order to achieve sustainable land use, such measures should be taken as improving the land use intensity, optimizing the industrial structure and strengthening the ecological environment protection.
