Abstract :
The paper presents the results of research on UV radiation effect on a new Polish silicone elastomer GUMOSIL-K. The paper includes the description of testing methods, the results of tests in form of main relations of electric properties and mass changes in relation to ageing process. Moreover, some preliminary suggestions on possible applications of the plastic for high-voltage insulation have been presented
