  • Abstract
In this paper, 7 ENVISAT ASAR images acquired from November 2004 to March 2006 are processed successfully to extract the interferograms and the subsidence map in KaiLuan mining area using the two-pass D-InSAR method. 14 major mining subsidences are ascertained in test area at the study period. 3 typical subsidence areas are taken as examples, by analyzing interferograms, subsidence profiles and the maximum amount change map, the study indicates that area A is in the deceleration phase on the whole at the study period, and its maximum subsidence amount is 0.092m. The subsidence velocity of area B, taking April 2005 as the limit, first increases, then decreases, and its maximum subsidence amount is 0.052m. The subsidence velocity of area C accelerates from November 2004 to March 2005, and then decelerates to April 2005, while accelerates from April 2005 to March 2006 again, and its maximum subsidence amount is 0.075m. It is of great reference value to govern mining subsidence and study deformation law in mining area.
