Abstract :
This technique models diodes as a switch and resistance. Two diode models, a two-region model and an extended three-region model, and the modified nodal formulation are presented. A simulation algorithm is given. The method is applied to digital bipolar circuit analysis. It is confirmed that the three-region model is effective for dealing with the limit-cycle problem
