Abstract
Dynamic load control (DLC) is presented as a means of maintaining speech quality in a circuit multiplication terminal by ensuring that the freezeout fraction is kept at or below an acceptable threshold. Dimensioning and digital circuit multiplication equipment (DCME) are discussed. A data channel occupancy analyzer (DCOA), which was designed to given network planners and support engineers a detailed insight into the amount and type of traffic being carried over 30-channel pulse code modulation (PCM) systems, is also discussed
