  • Abstract
Digital-to-Analog Converter is a key component of Arbitrary Waveform Generator based on Direct Digital Synthesis technique. However, the improvement of sampling rate of AWG is restricted because of the low sampling rate of DAC. In this paper, pseudo-interleaving technique based on dual-DDS is adopted to double the sampling rate of AWG, without changing that of DAC. An arbitrary waveform generator is designed and implemented here, with a sampling rate of 400MHz, while that of DAC is 200MHz, enhancing the sampling rate of AWG, successfully. And the chip selection and analysis of experimental results are also present.
