  • Abstract
Simulation is a key tool for assessing the performance of new DC Electrical Power System (EPS) developments for helicopter applications. Scalable model description allows performing complete tests to verify the compliance of requirements within aeronautic electrical system standards. This approach improves computation times and robustness of simulations for complete EPSs by using models which are adapted to the dynamics of the electrical phenomena of interest, from DC and time domain transients up to a range below 150 kHz.
