Abstract :
With the widely used of micro-electronics and bus technology, ATS (automatic test system) has got rapid development in the test of all kinds of instruments. The research of architecture of ATS can effectively drive the development and amelioration of ATS. Based on the correlative information of auto test process, the paper puts forward the architecture of IPATS (Information Path-based ATS). In this architecture, ATS information path is divided into six information modules. In the form of a combination of establishment of common switch channel and information description of path configuration, switch subsystem is mathematically modeled to get the sub-system design based on information path.
