Abstract
The voltage coupled to wayside cables is a very common EMC interface in electric transportation system, that has impact on several subsystems. The choice of the calculation method and its accuracy influences the design and its optimization. Some real cases are used as an example to identify the relevant elements and to derive some general rules to guide the choice.
