Abstract :
Wind airfoil as the basis of the blade shape design has important implications on the aerodynamic characteristics and quality of the blades, as well as the utilization of the wind turbines to capture wind energy. For the NACA0012 airfoil, we established two-dimensional numerical model using Gambit, specified the type of the boundary conditions and meshing, then using Fluent software calculated performance and numerical analysis, have the wind airfoil performance parameters, analysis of the parameters, provided the technical parameters and guidance for selecting the wind turbine blade airfoil, blade airfoil design and development.
