  • Abstract
Network virtualization has become an essential component in engineering networking. Adapting virtualization concepts to satisfy many of today´s network telecommunications challenges receives more and more attention. We have developed virtual environment design, to allow the coexistence of virtual networks and their respective operators. In this Demo, we will see different scenarios showing strong potential of virtual access points. We will instantiate instantly virtual access point on demand, depending on the end-user needs: a highly secured virtualized Wi-Fi access point using 802.1X authentication, a virtualized IPv6 router AP for video streaming, a virtualized IPv4 router AP for accessing web services, a virtual PBX, etc. All the virtualized resources are running at the same time on the same mutualized physical resource. We have developed this approach to support wireless network advantages such as mobility, coverage areas, installation speed and simplicity. Each access point is designed to guarantee the convenient access to the provided Cloud computing services.
