Abstract :
To use the soybean stalk effectively and cleanly and provide theory basis for the correct design of biomass pyrolysis device, Pyrolysis characteristics of soybean stalk was performed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) at different heating rate. The results showed the pyrolysis process of soybean stalk can be separated into four stages. With the heating rate increasing, the TG and DTG curves of the major pyrolysis area move to higher temperature direction, the maximum pyrolysis rate and its corresponding temperature increase too. The value area of activation energy of the main pyrolysis area is 98.78–191.75 kJ mol−1 calculated by the method of Ozawa. The most possible mechanism function of sunflower stalk is Avrami-Erofeev equation, which is a random nucleation and later growth mechanism function, whose reaction order is 3.
