Abstract :
A modified algorithm of the field oriented control respecting the stator iron losses of AC machines is presented. A simplified easy-to-realize version of this algorithm is suggested. The comparison of the classical field oriented control with the algorithm reported in both steady state and transient processes is carried out through the results of numerical simulations. By using the usual algorithms of field oriented control, losses in the stator iron of an induction machine bring about a similar detuning of the control as the changes of the parameters of the motor towards the parameters considered. Even the simplified version of the algorithm suggested can practically eliminate this detuning
