Abstract
This work presents a nonlinear mathematical model for a pressure regulation and shutoff valve (PRSOV) used in aircrafts and proposes a controller based on feedback linearization theory. Simulation results are presented and discussed. The benefits and difficulties of applying feedback linearization control to this type of systems are analyzed.
