Abstract :
This paper presents a comparison between the ideal and the real DC-voltage conversion ratio of boost ZVS-QRC. The theoretical characteristics (already presented in the literature) have been calculated by considering an efficiency equal to one. The real characteristics are reproduced qualitatively by computer simulation, taking into account the losses in each converter element. For this purpose approximation formulas are used. The simulation results are confronted to measurements that were taken with different breadboard boost ZVS-QRCs. The experimental results are also discussed
