Abstract :
This paper proposes a user´s conception accelerator which supports making user´s conception for data analysis in decision making. This paper introduces proposed system to an interactive information visualization system keyword map. The keyword map has been studied for supporting data analysis for decision making. It represents relationships between objects (keywords) from various viewpoints. From previous study, a user using the keyword map can make various conceptions for decision making. However, when a user analyzes a data from certain viewpoint focused by a user, he/she overlooks several important and weak conceptions for decision making. Relationships from viewpoints non-focused by a user are represented inconspicuously on the keyword map. This paper introduces the user´s conception accelerator to existing keyword map so that user can make conception from viewpoints non-focused by him/her. We perform an experiment with test subjects for confirming change of user´s conception during interactive data analysis. The results show that subjects using proposed system tend to make his/her conception from viewpoints non-focused by him/her for decision making in certain situations.
