Abstract
An improved localization algorithm W-Ecolocation in wireless sensor network is proposed. When there is a high erroneous constraints rate, the Ecolocation algorithm which only considers the locations with maximum computing number of matched constraints cannot obtain the optimal location estimate. The W-Ecolocation makes use of more locations with great computing number of matched constraints and takes the weighted average as the location estimate of the unknown node. The simulation results show that W-Ecolocation performs better than Ecolocation in terms of location error and location precision. A new approach to compute the number of matched constraints is also presented. It reduces both the time complexity and space complexity.
