Abstract :
The high dynamic spread spectrum signals include high Doppler shifts which may exceed 100 KHz in LEO satellite communication system. This paper describes a method which is based on fast Fourier transform (FFT) for the fast acquisition of spread spectrum signals in the presence of large Doppler shifts. The performance of the method is analyzed in this dissertation and the results show that the method can efficiently perform the acquisition process of the high dynamic spread spectrum signals. The paper utilized FPGA+DSP technology to implement this method. The experiment also showed the feasibility.
