Abstract :
In this paper, the fuzzy logic controller for current controlled PWM inverter drives is proposed. To get high performance AC motor drives, the fuzzy logic controller controls the inverter switching patterns based on fuzzy rules to derive three phase sinusoidal currents. The advantage of the proposed method is that no exact system mathematical model is needed. Since the switching frequency is constant, it is easy to reduce harmonics by designing a power filter. The theoretical principle of the proposed method is discussed and verified by computer simulations. Simulations show that the proposed scheme has good transient performance and low current error
