Abstract :
Two case studied performed by an electric utility are presented in which industrial facilities experienced operational problems due to power conversion equipment. The case studies describe two common problems associated with power conversion devices: line voltage notching and harmonic current amplification caused by parallel resonance. The problems associated with each case, their analyses, and the steps taken to resolve them are reported
