Abstract :
This paper concentrates on the use of series connected IGBTs in a PWM current source inverter (CSI). The authors show that the voltages imposed on the IGBTs are controlled by the switching in other branches. This and the voltage sharing circuits for ´off´ IGBTs may be optimized for low losses
