Abstract
Two spirals separation is an important non-linear recognition problem which can be used to test the function of artificial learning system. We design an intelligent method based on qualitative mapping and try to recognize 3D two spirals. The result of the computer based experiment indicates that the mode we use has the following merits: less learning samples, shorter learning time, faster recognition and higher recognizing rate. Also we discuss the value of the mode both in theory and commercial development.
