Abstract :
There are many kinds of business process modelling languages competing in the market. As a way to cope with the complexity and problems inherent in B2B business process specifications and executions, this paper presents a BPMN-based method for graphically modelling B2B (Business to Business) business processes from the participants-neutral perspective of UMM/BPSS. This method makes the modelling of B2B requirements in BPMN more explicit and efficient. It can be a good medium for enhancing the level of understanding and automatically generating XML-based specifications. Furthermore, it is a starting point to support automatically mapping the B2B requirements defined in UMM/BPSS into BPMN notations for effective execution in the world of Web Service.
