Abstract
The paper studies the fundamental characteristics of commonly used DC network topologies. These network topologies include unipolar and bipolar structures. Paper also addresses important issues such as DC network modeling and voltage stability. The theoretical results achieved are verified using relevant simulation and measurement results.
