Abstract :
Inventory control is an important part of supply chain management, and the researches of inventory control have more and more attentions. But presently there are few researches on multi-product multi-echelon inventory control. On the basis of analyzing the shortages of present studies on multi-echelon inventory control, and considering some restrictions, this paper applies the joint order strategy into the inventory system and builds a multi-product multi-echelon inventory control model. Then, it respectively simulates the model under three different order strategies by Genetic Algorithm. The simulation result shows that the established model has obvious superiority on reducing the total cost of the multi-product multi-echelon inventory system. Moreover, it illustrates the feasibility and the effectiveness of the model and the Genetic Algorithm method.
