Abstract :
It is a tempting application for the measurement system based on sub-pixel image processing. The paper focuses on several factors that may impact on the accuracy of measurement system. And the paper finds some good methods to solve these problems. Several Algorithms, such as principal axis transform, multi-scale gradient and general sub-pixel image processing, are mentioned in the paper. In addition, the paper measures the thickness of the cable using the algorithm designed in the paper and the algorithm is simple and effective.
