Abstract :
Aimed at the measurement of the volume for a small flying objects, a measuring method of the volume for the flying objects using single screen was presented in this paper. Two light screen targets were used to measure the speed of the flying objects, the volume information of the rotational symmetry flying object was got by means of the analog signal outputted from one of the light screen targets. This paper analyzes a theoretical model between the wave and the volume of the flying object, three typical rotational symmetry objects simulating were used to verify the theoretical model, and a calibrating method was studied. The testing result has proved that the proposed method is effective and feasible.
