Abstract :
In this paper, a very important design part in ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) frontend design process is introduced, including logic design and verification. The 2×2 SDH digital cross-connect(SDXC) matrix was designed based on the flow. Using the frontend tools of Synopsys the design of the SDXC matrix was verified. After that a gate-level netlist conforming to the design requirements can be obtained.
