Abstract :
A noniterative technique for estimating electric current densities from biomagnetic field measurements is presented. A set of linear equations is formed from the Fourier-transformed Maxwell equations, sampled according to the Shannon sampling theorem, and solved by matrix methods. The sampling theorem provides a way of including prior information and assumptions concerning the current distributions, internal magnetic field, and measurement geometry
