Abstract
Conductivity has been used in the past years to detect interfaces in mining processes, in concentrate thickener to detect the mud line, underflow density and thickener solids inventory. However, the sensors used are rather slow and not appropriate for measurement of conductivity in processes with a fast dynamic. In this paper a fast solid state conductivity sensor which uses several cells simultaneously connected to a bipolar power supply is presented and the necessary hardware discussed
