  • Abstract
Daidalos II works towards its overall mission of providing a beyond 3G framework that is capable of supporting pervasive services built on network and service infrastructures for mobile end users. In order to validate such a framework, Daidalos worked towards the completion of a prototype demonstrator was verified on a Daidalos specific testbed infrastructure, enabling end user validation of the Daidalos framework. Having a Daidalos specific testbed infrastructure up and running with Daidalos components installed, provides a valuable opportunity for the Daidalos consortium to realistically debug and evaluate the Daidalos framework to assess if it lives up to its objectives. This paper will provide you with an overview of the testbed layout and the evolution of this testbed. It will also give you an insight into the validation aspects of work completed wthin this Daidalos testbed via a scenario driven process, detailing some of the applications specifically designed for the Daidalos II demonstrator that support and help convey the pervasive aspects of the Daidalos framework..
