Abstract :
A design procedure has been developed for the “bus-bar” MMIC power combiner. All the assumptions made during the design are tested and verified, and the amplitude and phase balances of such a combiner are analysed. The effects of power imbalance on the overall gain of a 4 W MMIC power amplifier are also investigated at 10 GHz
