  • Abstract
The system is mainly used to solve three problems: First, the self-made feedstuff must meet the needs of the fish in its growth process, at the same time, the cost of purchase feed ingredients to debase the minimum. The solution of this problem is through the establishment of a linear programming model, using simplex method to work out the result. Second, how to guide the users make use of the scientific method to decide the number and exact time to feed the fish in a day. Third, users are guided to judge the fish disease correctly, avoiding large disaster and minimizing the user´s losses. The solution of the second and the third problem is mainly through field research in Dongying City, Shandong Province and studying expert information to obtain. The system is installed in the PDA, easy to carry and convenient to use. After being tested in Dongying city, results indicated that: the feed formulas model is in favor of the model structure and to optimize the knowledge base to improve the efficiency of reasoning; the formulas generated are reasonable and scientific; the system based on analysis of the relationship between environmental factors and feeding activities of common fish, providing feeding decisions and suggestions, disease opinion, more accurate and reasonable directions to feed feeding, the PDA-based Feeding System for precision Culturing of common fish provides a quick and convenient means to reduce costs and improve the economic efficiency.
