Abstract :
With the increasing popularity and wide application of embedded systems as well as the recently frequent emergence of incidents of food safety, the PDA + RFID finds its rapid development and widespread application in the aspects of quality traceability. The United States and Europe take the lead in this application are,and In Beijing and Shanghai, RFID system has been used experimentally to realize the precise feeding of milk cows. However, the milk cow data acquisition and feeding system are highly demanding on infrastructure and expensive. Besides, it is applicable to the large-scale dairy of high modernization rather than the economically developing Ningxia and other similar regions in the west.The dairy cow data acquisition system based on PDA takes HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) management system as its basis, grounds itself on the hardware platform PDA, adopts the B/S structure, makes comprehensive use of technologies such as RFID, Bluetooth, GPRS, data synchronization and code bar, etc. It also employs the International Halal Certification Standard in feed formula and daily feed formula according to the individual parameter of the cow, which improves the reasonableness of feed formula. RFID is adopted to realize the recognition and tracking of the cow, the collection, browse and document printing of various basic information of the cow in the working place. This paper explores and develops the design method of Dairy Cow Data Acquisition System based on PDA. According to the application of the system, it proves that this system not only saves manpower, improves work efficiency and overall benefits, and at the same time it solves the problem of its combining with management system, provides timely and effective information and technical support to the directors´ decision-making, improves the capacity of reacting to emergencies, and offers enormous technical support for the standardization of Islamic feeding of livestock husbandry, the informati- - onization of management process, the automatic data collection of milk yield as well as the traceability of Islamic animal products. So the paper is innovative and of practical use to some extent.
