Abstract :
According to the Lambert-Beer absorption law and the selective absorption of infrared by gas, infrared can be used to detect the components and compositions of the ethanol emissions from petrol vehicles. The infrared detection system for detecting ethanol gasoline vehicles´ emission components is mainly used to detect the concentration for benzene, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, ethanol and so on. It compensates for the impact of atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature for the measurements and amends the final measurement results for output. The analyzer is very useful with its intelligence, low power-consumption and low cost.
