Abstract :
An accurate electrical parameter to achieve high performance vector control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is necessary. This paper presents a new procedure for electrical parameter measurement of PMSM based on its voltage equation taking account of all losses such as copper loss, stator loss, mechanical loss, and stray loss. This method is simple and does not need complex theory and special equipment. Its effectiveness is illustrated by experimental result
