Abstract :
The influence of cross gain modulation on the harmonics photodetection response is presented in a multi-electrode SOA. The cross gain modulation permits the achievement of low photodetection distortion for particular points as functions of optical input power and bias current. Experimental results are obtained by using a three electrode SOA of 500 μm electrode length
