  • Abstract
    With the system functions growing rich and the design growing difficulty, using ECU in-loop simulation as development platform of entire system can test the rationality and reliability of the control system design step by step in advance. Thus it greatly enhances the development quality of control system, reduces risk and increases the success rate of the design. Engine ECU hardware in-loop simulation system using National Instruments Company´s PXI system, CompactRIO, and LabVIEW, designs kinds of different test and simulation functions, including AI test, DC output test, PWM output test, sine wave output test, digital switch test, PWM input test, to compare and analyze the error of the multi-meter, oscilloscope, data acquisition cards. After error analysis, the system can replace traditional instruments to calibrate ECU online for the errors are in the measure accuracy range which relative error is less than 3.9%, and the high-speed updating rate can sample the input and output signals of ECU. Finally, virtual ECU in-loop test and real ECU in-loop test are done to develop alternative fuel engine ECU.
