Abstract :
In this paper, two reinforced concrete shear walls under biaxial load were analyzed with ANSYS, and the analysis results fit well with those of the experiment. The analysis also indicates that though the horizontal deformation of the high-rise wall caused by shear contributes only a small part to the total horizontal deformation before yielding, it can´t be ignored after that.
