Abstract :
One of the major problems of rubber production forecast is how to be obtained the verity information of rubber spatial distributing and growth and its close relation environment data. A new method, classification of forest vegetation based on FY-3A satellite data, is proposed in this paper. First, some sample training regions of rubber in different state farm of Hainan province were selected by GPS, and the monthly NDVI of the studied area and the rubber sample training regions were calculated and made up of sets. Then the monthly intersection between the sets of rubber sample training region´s NDVI and the sets of the studied area´s NDVI were calculated. Finally, the intersection of all of monthly intersection during rubber growth cycle can be used as the information of rubber spatial distribution. The result of field investigation showed that the extraction of rubber spatial distributing information based on FY-3A is real and credible.
