Abstract :
Knowledge elicitation is an important part of the knowledge acquisition (KA) process. There are various techniques for knowledge elicitation, which have been used to obtain the information required to solve problems in KA process. One common way is the direct method. In the direct method the performance of the knowledge due to the quality of information and the reduction of error possibility is performed by direct interaction between experts and knowledge engineer during the elicitation process. In order for these methods to be successful, a method is needed that can achieve that performance. This paper proposes a new technique in direct method for knowledge elicitation/acquisition using ternary grid, which derives the information given by expert to obtain that performance.
